Inequalities in Child Health in Bolivia : Has Morales Made a Difference

This paper examines trends in children's health and inequalities in children's health before and after the election of Evo Morales. Bolivia has marked geographic, class and ethnic inequality in children's health The Morales government took several important steps to improve health. Results from the Bolivia DHS for 2003 and 2008 indicate improvements in overall health, but little change in the degree of inequality.
